Things i like: my super-bargain wallet

It’s no secret that I love a bargain. And when I find a bargain on something I was considering paying full price for, I’m a happy girl! I’ve been looking for a small wallet (or purse) for a while now. While I use my personal Malden as a combined planner/wallet for my ID and cards, I’ve never found a way to comfortably use it for cash and coin. Up until this week I’ve been using a small Coach card case-type thing, but it gets stuffed pretty quickly even with my lack of cash.

I’ve been casually browsing for something new when I’m out and about, and even considered moving back into my Hobo wallet. But I found it WAY to big for just cash and coins. I was beginning to think I was going to have to shell out some cash just to store my cash until I was walking around Target and found this:

Super cute and vintagey with an awesome buckle detail. The best part? It was tossed on a clearance shelf and marked $2.49! Whoo hoo! Nothing makes me happier than a great find that rings in at less than half the price of a pumpkin spice latte. They actually had a grey one as well that I considered nabbing, but I liked the look and feel of the brown so much better. Plus, doesn’t it just look wonderful with my Malden?

Together, they are a dream team! My Malden carries my ID, credit, debit, and store discount cards, while the new wallet handles any cash, coin, or misc. small items I toss in. I couldn’t get a good picture of the inside, but it has a main inside pocket, plus four credit card slots and a zippered section for coins. The card slots are a bit floppy for actual use, but I was mainly interested in the big section and zippered pocket anyway so anything else is a bonus!

Anyway, I know this is a pretty silly TIL feature, but I couldn’t help myself as this little guy made my week.

Happy Friday, lovelies!
