A few housekeeping notes

Happy Monday, readers! Well, I’m at least trying to be happy, since I’ve been at work all day and my day started with a one hour train delay! But, life moves on, and with it I’ve got a few housekeeping notes to share with all of you to begin the week.

1. Don’t be alarmed if you notice a few design changes on the blog. I’m getting a bit bored with the grey- it is just too dark for my liking! So, look out for a fresh, new design that much better reflects where I am in life right now. I’ve got a new header up now to see how I like it in action, but there will also be some changes to the overall theme/design coming soon.

2. I PROMISE that stickers are on the way. I know that since Kanalt just posted about her recent sticker win after a giveaway I held recently, I will be getting some questions on when I actually plan to start making/selling the darn things. I actually really wanted to create several sheets on Sunday to get up for sale, but our printer broke while printing our save the dates. Of course. So, as soon as I am able to print, I’ll get to work creating some stickers. In the meantime, I can work on some more vintage typewriter stickers, which I plan to make a bit narrower as Kanalt mentioned they are a bit too wide for the monthly spaces. It might mean that I have to turn “birthday” into “bday” but it should work. Plus, I think the most requested sticker “drinks” will fit just fine!

But I really love some of the printed stickers that I shared HERE, so hopefully we get this printer situation figured out so I can get cracking.

3. I am hoping to start a new little recipe feature on the blog. I had Recipe of the Week going on for a bit toward the end of last year, but it fizzled out. Mainly because I tend to make the same dishes on a regular basis, and when I’d make something new I’d always forget to take the darn pictures.

So, I need your help. If you have a favorite recipe (preferably with photos of the recipe being made or the finished product), please send them to me at thecrazylifeofj[at]gmail[dot]com. Depending on how many I receive, I’ll be able to do this as a fairly regular little feature. Because who doesn’t need new recipe ideas?

Anyhoo, thank you for trudging through this little public service announcement. I know it isn’t the most thrilling of copy, but I promise I’ve got some fun things coming this week. Including one of my new(ish) favorite things and hopefully a reveal of the shoes I bought to wear under my wedding dress- that is if they arrive on time!
