Gratitude Every Day: September 2013

For those of you just joining in on this monthly feature, here’s how it works: each day, one little line in my planner starts with the three words above. I am grateful. I can’t remember when I started doing this, but it has evolved into a fun and rewarding little habit. Every day, I list one thing I am grateful for, whether it be serious, silly, or stupid. You can look back at previous months here.

While I really only do this for myself as a reminder of all the things I have to be grateful for, I figured it would be a fun little monthly post to review my five favorite entries each month. Here’s what I’ve got for September…

September 1: I am grateful that I get to be a Powers woman

September 8: I am grateful for one year of marriage (and I hope I always feel the way I do at this moment 🙂

September 12: I am grateful for a Nani meal @ home with my husband 🙂

September 22: I am grateful for a perfect first day of fall

September 24: I am grateful for an unexpected day off (w/ perfect weather)

What are you grateful for today?

Jordan

  1. did you start doing this after a TED talk? My co-worker told me he started doing this after he listened to a TED talk and then he found an app for it

  2. Hi Jamie! I actually had no idea there was a TED talk on this! I've been keeping a gratitude list for quite a while now – I just started because I felt like it was important. Though I'm glad other people feel the same 🙂
